There are some automatic functions for migrating an existing site to BYU Websites
- An employee directory, Brightspot is able to pull in your department’s faculty and staff.
- Importing bulk events can be done through creating and uploading a CSV file to Brightspot.
- Importing mass news articles can be done through creating and uploading a CSV file to Brightspot.
The imported content is revised by members of the BYU Website team for any errors. The process for the migration of an existing site to BYU Websites includes the BYU Web Team receiving a request, employees manually migrating the existing sections of the site, followed by training on how to utilize and edit the new Brightspot site for the department or team who requested the site.
