Configure Your Time Zone

Fix the issue where event times show up differently than entered.

Sometimes when creating events, the incorrect time appears on the page or in the calendar. This is typically because the default time zone in the user settings is incorrect. The below steps detail how to change a user's time zone:

  1. Click your name in the top right corner in the Brightspot editor interface.
  2. Click the Profile option.
  3. Scroll down to the Time Zone and change the default time zone to the correct time zone. For Utah, this is "America/Denver."
  4. Return to the event that listed the incorrect time, make changes as necessary, then hit Publish.
