What is Brightspot?
Simple, free web hosting and content management
Brightspot is a campus website management and hosting service meant to improve and simplify campus web publishing. It provides cloud hosting, security, round-the-clock monitoring, and ADA-compliant accessible design templates.
Who can use Brightspot?
Most BYU campus units are allowed to create and manage Brightspot sites. A site needs a full-time employee as a sponsor, but student employees may run it. Department-sponsored academic associations may have Brightspot sites, but other student clubs are usually excluded.
How do I get help with Brightspot?
You can reach OIT's Brightspot support via email at websites@byu.edu, in Microsoft Teams under IT Collaboration > Campus Support - Brightspot, or at the IT help line 801-422-4000.
